About Headmon

A small app with a very human starting point.

Headmon is an independent headache and migraine diary for Android and iOS. Its job is to make keeping a useful record feel possible, even on the difficult days.

Headmon grew out of daily life with chronic headaches and migraine. It has been shaped from the beginning together with someone who lives with them. As a result, reducing effort during a difficult episode guides the design more than simply adding features.

That means fast logging, recognizable choices, low-stimulation options and the freedom to leave details for later. It also means treating a diary as personal health information, not as material for an advertising or analytics system.

What guides the work

Four practical promises

01

Respect the hard moment

Common tasks should require as little attention and screen time as reasonably possible.

02

Keep the diary private

No Headmon account, diary cloud or developer analytics are needed to use the app.

03

Let people leave

Portable exports make backup and movement between Android and iOS a user-controlled choice.

04

Feel native on both

Shared meaning does not require identical interfaces. Each app uses its platform well.

Independent by design

Your diary works without an account.

Headmon is maintained as an independent project. The public GitHub repository contains this website and its issue tracker; the application source and personal diary data are not published there.

Headmon is a personal diary and pattern-viewing tool. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent a medical condition and is not a replacement for professional care.
